What happens in the counsellor session?
For families who want the report walked through and turned into a decision, the counsellor tier at ₹3,500 inclusive of GST bundles Brainwave with a 1:1 session where a Stride counsellor explains what the personality, aptitude, and interest results mean together and helps you land on a stream and subject choice.
How long is it and how many questions?
124 questions for Grade 8 to 10, and 134 for Grade 11 and 12, across the three areas. Plan for about 90 minutes, in one considered sitting rather than rushed.
Is it scientific? How was it built?
Brainwave is built on established assessment traditions: personality preference theory in the Myers-Briggs tradition, structured aptitude measurement, and the widely used Holland (RIASEC) interest model. It is a thorough, research-grounded career-fitment assessment for guidance and planning, not a clinical diagnosis or an IQ test, and it does not predict success.
